For somebody like me, who always spent her holidays only in or around Europe, the first visit to the USA
has really been something that I probably won't forget.
I've been deligthed of this country for many years, and now I am even more.
And although I know that it's also no paradise: For me it's all much bigger, more beautiful, more exciting and more crazy than here.
And I hope I that I can move there forever one day.
But now some pictures of our three weeks in Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego.
Infront of the skyline of San Francisco
On the Golden Gate Bridge
Infront of a cross-section of the main ropes from the bridge
On the cliffs north of the Golden Gate Bridge, the most beautiful and well-known bridge of America
Castro District, the freaky gay and eccentric quarter of the city, one of my favorite places
At the Golden Gate Park
On the balcony of our hotel in San Diego
(with this weird hat, the most useless thing of the whole journey (;-)
At probably the most famous letters of the world
In the Planet Hollywood of Los Angeles
In the Hardrock Cafe of Hollywood
In our hotel room in one of the most famous hotels of Los Angeles:
The Westin Bonaventure Hotel, from where we had a breathtaking view on the city
